The Odyssey Black Series #3 Putter Features Include: High-density tungsten flange repositions weight in the putter head for a lower and deeper centre of gravity (COG) compared to typical steel flange putters. Discretionary weight is redistributed from the hosel and upper areas of the putter head to the tungsten flange. Tungsten flange creates a lower, deeper COG, reducing backspin to improve roll and keep putts online. The repositioned COG also increases the MOI, keeping the putter stable through the entire stroke for superior control, even on off-centre hits. A low, deep COG produces a higher launch angle to help lift the ball from its depression on the green. With a lower and deeper COG less loft is required to launch the ball at an optimum angle.
