An effect we call “fairway forgiveness”. The “fairway forgiveness” effect produced by TrueStrike’s unique top surface and divot simulating subsurface means, for the fi rst time, a golf mat is available that accurately recreates the effects of playing on a natural fairway. When struck with a club, the TrueStrike top surface fl exes, stretches and rucks up helping to recreate the effect of hitting off a fairway. Underneath the top surface is the divot simulating subsurface. This is a nylon armored polyurethane pillow containing a closed cell foam insert and the all important silicone gel. Unlike the hard foam backing on ordinary mats this pillow allows the club head to play through the playing surface as it would on turf. As the TrueStrike playing surface simulates the fairway so closely, iron and wood shots can be played directly from the TrueStrike top surface in exactly the same way you would from a natural fairway. Drives can be practiced using the specially designed TrueStrike tee holder and tee. The TrueStrike tee will remain in the holder when struck with a club but can easily be removed by hand.
